Dr. Lynsey Rector
Dr. Lynsey Rector was born and raised in the small town of Arcadia, Florida. While attending Edward Waters College, in Jacksonville Florida, Dr. Rector graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Biology. While in school she served as a tutor, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and played four years of competitive softball that ultimately resulted in a serious knee injury.
It was this injury that led her to explore into conservative/holistic care, which ultimately formed her passion for chiropractic. Right after graduating from Edward Waters College, Dr. Rector began her expedition into chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. It was here that she discovered her passion in providing chiropractic to communities that deserve it. Here she served as a mentor, coach, and tutor to fellow students as well as to people within the community.
Dr. Rector joined The Chiro Place to help build an application of chiropractic, fitness, and wellness principles into people of all ages. She is also currently an active member of the American Black Chiropractic Association, Florida Chiropractic Association, and Tennessee Chiropractic Association. Dr. Rector is a giver at heart and understands that the greatest gift that she can give is the gift and knowledge of health. She enjoys spreading this gift through participating in community health fairs, speaking engagements, mentoring, and providing health and wellness workshops.
